Job description
The Service Advisor role in Ras Al-Khaimah involves providing high-quality customer support within an automotive dealership environment, ensuring a seamless service experience from vehicle drop-off to delivery. The position acts as the liaison between customers and the service department, attending to high-profile and fleet clients, managing service schedules, providing accurate information on repairs and maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include recording customer requirements, creating and updating job cards, coordinating with workshop teams, obtaining approvals for additional repairs, explaining warranties and service contracts, promoting upsell opportunities, and ensuring timely completion and delivery of vehicles. The role requires achieving assigned financial and non-financial targets, handling complaints, responding promptly to queries, and building long-term customer relationships. The Service Advisor is expected to maintain operational efficiency, adherence to NSSW standards, and proficient use of service management software and Microsoft Office tools, while demonstrating knowledge of vehicle systems, repairs, and maintenance processes.

Key responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly, understand their service requirements, and provide accurate guidance on vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Conduct detailed vehicle inventories, accurately record customer requirements, and create clear job cards for workshop teams.
- Update and maintain customer information in the system, reconfirm repair details, estimated costs, delivery timelines, and obtain customer approvals.
- Coordinate with workshop teams to monitor job progress, inform customers of additional repairs or delays, and ensure timely completion of service tasks.
- Explain warranty coverage, service contract entitlements, and promote additional service products or packages to enhance revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure vehicles are cleaned, delivered on time, and payment is collected efficiently, while proactively notifying customers of any delays.
- Achieve assigned financial and operational targets, including labour sales, CSI, RO numbers, and service campaign objectives.
- Handle customer complaints promptly, escalate unresolved issues to management, and build long-term customer relationships to improve retention.
Experience & skills
- Degree or 3-year Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering, with a strong foundation in vehicle systems and automotive service operations.
- Minimum of 3 years practical experience in a similar role within automotive dealerships, with exposure to customer service and service coordination.
- Sound knowledge of vehicle repairs, maintenance services, and service management processes in the automotive industry.
- Strong customer handling, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage client expectations and foster satisfaction.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, organise time effectively, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced service environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with service management software is preferred.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is desirable for effective customer interactions.
- Ability to adhere to NSSW standards and maintain professional and operational excellence across all customer touchpoints.
