Job description
The Materials & Supply Chain Supervisor at Jazeera Airways is responsible for overseeing the procurement, inventory, and logistics of aircraft parts to support maintenance operations. This includes receiving and processing material requests, managing exchange orders, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating shipments. The role ensures the timely availability of parts for scheduled maintenance and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations while maintaining regulatory compliance with EASA Part M, Part 145, and Kuwait DGCA regulations. The supervisor will collaborate closely with technical planning teams, maintain data in the OASES ERP system, and generate operational reports. The position requires strong technical knowledge of aircraft parts, excellent negotiation and leadership skills, and completion of mandatory aviation training modules such as Human Factors, SMS, Fuel Tank Safety, and Aviation Security.

Key responsibilities
- Receive, review, and process aircraft spare parts requests ensuring timely action
- Manage exchange orders and track core returns and deliveries
- Request and analyse quotations for out-of-contract items and place purchase orders
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to ensure availability
- Oversee home base and on-site stock and arrange necessary shipments
- Maintain ERP records in OASES, generate reports, and provide daily status updates
- Collaborate with technical planning on scheduled maintenance and modifications
- Ensure timely availability of Hard Time Components and Emergency Equipment
- Track and resolve AOG situations through expediting solutions
Experience & skills
- Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of aviation materials and supply chain experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of EASA Part M, EASA Part 145, and Kuwait DGCA regulations
- Familiarity with release certificates, visit reports, MSDS, and conformity certificates
- Experience managing routable, consumable, and expendable aircraft parts
- Strong negotiation and leadership capabilities
- Fluency in English communication
- Completion of Dangerous Goods (Hazmat) training
- Part M / CAMO Training
- Human Factors Training
- Safety Management System knowledge
- Fuel Tank Safety Phase 1 certification
- Aviation Security compliance
- ERP System training (OASES)
