Job description
The Wealth Management Techno Functional Consultant – Senior Manager role at Deloitte is a senior consulting position within Banking Solutions, focused on large-scale Wealth Management technology and transformation programmes across Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The role acts as the primary Wealth Management subject matter expert across advisory and discretionary portfolio models, client onboarding, KYC, suitability assessments, order management, execution, settlement, corporate actions, performance measurement, and reporting. The position engages senior client stakeholders including Wealth Heads, CIOs, COOs, and Product Heads to shape business requirements and ensure technology solutions align with strategic business outcomes. The role leads end-to-end business analysis, governs functional design and artefacts, drives platform alignment across leading Wealth platforms such as Avaloq, Temenos, Intellect, and Finacle Wealth, and acts as Functional Design Authority throughout delivery, UAT, and change governance, while also supporting pre-sales, RFPs, and proposal solutioning.

Key responsibilities
- Act as primary Wealth Management subject matter expert across front-to-back Wealth processes including onboarding, KYC, suitability, trading, settlement, corporate actions, performance measurement, and reporting
- Engage senior client stakeholders to shape business requirements, validate functional designs, and align technology solutions to business outcomes
- Provide functional leadership across Deloitte delivery teams and client organisations throughout project lifecycles
- Lead end-to-end business analysis activities including requirements elicitation, As-Is and To-Be process mapping, business rules definition, and prioritisation
- Translate business strategies, regulatory requirements, and operational needs into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications
- Own and govern functional artefacts including BRDs, FRS, epics, user stories, and traceability matrices
- Lead functional solution design across Wealth platforms, digital channels, CRM systems, and integration layers
- Conduct platform fit-gap analysis and collaborate with engineering and integration teams to preserve functional intent
- Drive pre-sales functional solutioning for RFPs and proposals including scope definition, effort estimation, risks, and solution narratives
- Act as Functional Design Authority during delivery, managing scope, change control, traceability, UAT support, and defect triage
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate 10–15+ years of experience in Wealth Management technology and transformation
- Exhibit strong experience as a Lead Business Analyst on complex Wealth Management programmes
- Demonstrate deep understanding of front-to-back Wealth Management processes
- Exhibit hands-on experience with leading Wealth platforms such as Avaloq, Temenos, Intellect, or Finacle Wealth
- Demonstrate ability to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into executable functional designs
- Exhibit strong stakeholder facilitation, documentation, and communication capabilities
- Demonstrate willingness to travel as required
