Job description
Lead the strategic design, development, implementation, and evaluation of multiversity courses and programs under Qatar Foundationās Multiversity Framework, spanning credit and non-credit bearing programs and executive education initiatives; design and oversee end-to-end program development processes including needs analysis, curriculum architecture, instructional design, pilot implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement; develop integrated academic architectures incorporating learning pathways, curriculum maps, assessment frameworks, credentialing structures, and progression models; build and steward collaborative academic design teams consisting of faculty, instructional designers, academic leaders, and industry/community partners to co-create high-impact multiversity offerings; act as an academic quality authority ensuring alignment between learning outcomes design, instructional strategies, assessment frameworks, and program-level impact goals; oversee quality assurance of multiversity programs including documentation standards, design reviews, program evaluation, and academic governance processes; support review of multiversity proposals based on academic quality, feasibility, and alignment; coordinate academic quality assurance activities across Education City universities to ensure consistent academic standards aligned with ministerial requirements and NCQAA requirements; collect, validate, and interpret data for KPI tracking and institutional effectiveness reporting; strengthen collaboration between Qatar Foundationās Higher Education Division and Education City Higher Education Institutions to align program development with workforce and community needs; apply knowledge of local ministerial requirements, regional and international accreditation frameworks, and professional certification standards to align program design and documentation with regulatory expectations; utilize MS Office applications, academic databases, assessment systems, and reporting tools to support program management, reporting, and analysis.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the strategic design, development, implementation, and evaluation of multiversity courses and programs across credit-bearing, non-credit, and executive education initiatives under the Multiversity Framework
- Design and oversee end-to-end program development processes including needs analysis, curriculum design, instructional design, pilot implementation, program evaluation, and continuous improvement
- Develop integrated academic architectures including learning pathways, curriculum maps, assessment frameworks, credentialing structures, and progression models
- Build and manage collaborative academic design teams comprising faculty, instructional designers, academic leaders, and industry/community partners to co-create programs
- Ensure alignment between learning outcomes design, instructional strategies, assessment frameworks, and program-level impact goals as an academic quality authority
- Oversee quality assurance processes including documentation standards, design reviews, program evaluations, and academic governance processes
- Review multiversity proposals and initiatives to assess academic quality, feasibility, and alignment with institutional priorities
- Coordinate academic quality assurance activities across universities to align processes and maintain standards in compliance with ministerial and NCQAA requirements
- Collect, validate, and interpret data on multiversity offerings for KPI tracking and institutional effectiveness reporting
- Strengthen collaboration between Higher Education Division and partner institutions to align program development with workforce and community needs
Experience & skills
- Obtain a Masterās degree in education, higher education, curriculum and instruction, learning sciences, educational leadership, or a related field
- Demonstrate 8ā10 years of full-time experience in higher education, academic development, or professional learning including at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role in program development, curriculum design, or instructional systems
- Exhibit proven experience leading end-to-end program development including needs analysis, curriculum design, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement
- Show demonstrated expertise in academic quality assurance including learning outcomes design, assessment frameworks, program evaluation, and continuous improvement processes
- Demonstrate knowledge of ministerial requirements, accreditation frameworks, and professional certification standards with experience aligning program design and documentation to regulatory expectations
- Utilize advanced project management skills to oversee multiple complex program initiatives within scope, timelines, and quality expectations
- Apply proficiency in MS Office applications, academic databases, assessment systems, and reporting tools for data management and reporting
- Produce professional academic documentation and reports with strong writing capabilities; Arabic proficiency considered an advantage
