Job description

The HOP Site Team Leader is responsible for managing day-to-day operational performance within Deliveroo’s HOP rapid grocery delivery sites, which are dedicated facilities designed for ultra-fast picking and packing of grocery orders to enable deliveries within approximately 10 minutes. The role focuses on operational excellence across site operations including order fulfilment, inventory management, dispatch coordination, and compliance with operational standards. The team leader supervises shift activities, prioritizes operational tasks, and works closely with associates to achieve site performance targets and KPIs such as pick speed and order accuracy. The role ensures that every customer order is picked efficiently, packed according to strict quality assurance and packaging standards, and handed off smoothly to Deliveroo riders. The position requires maintaining inventory integrity through accurate stock replenishment, temperature monitoring, and stock counts to minimize waste and maintain product availability. The role also involves enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs), conducting health and safety checks, and maintaining clean and organized site conditions that align with operational and merchandising standards. The HOP Site Team Leader collaborates with riders, internal teams, and operational stakeholders to ensure efficient last-mile delivery performance while fostering a productive and reliable site culture. The role operates in a fast-paced environment typical of retail, FMCG, or warehouse operations and requires strong leadership capability to manage shift teams, train associates, and ensure consistent operational performance within Deliveroo’s rapid grocery delivery network.
