Al-Futtaim Engineering & Technologies is seeking a Network Engineer within the Real Estate division responsible for implementing Data Network and Security solutions across enterprise environments. The role involves working within an engagement team to identify customer requirements, manage requirements lifecycle, implement systems, conduct testing, deliver training, define support procedures, and provide post-sales support. The position requires collaboration with Sales, technical, and professional services teams to implement Data Network, Wi-Fi, and Security solutions. Responsibilities include gathering information about customer IT and telecommunications infrastructure, installing and configuring enterprise-level network hardware and applications, planning and overseeing network infrastructure implementation with customers, principals, service providers, and business partners, and ensuring performance meets design parameters. The Network Engineer will troubleshoot complex multi-vendor networks, support project implementation and documentation, conduct customer training, and prioritize workload to minimize downtime. The role includes preparing high-level and low-level design documents, generating Wi-Fi active heatmaps, creating schematics and topology maps, and implementing multilayer security solutions and tiered campus network architectures. The position requires expertise in Software-Defined Networks, SD-WAN, wired and wireless networks, cloud-based network solutions, Voice & IP Telephony, virtualization, and network management software. Candidates must demonstrate experience across the complete network lifecycle including requirements gathering, solution mapping, testing, documentation, configuration, and maintenance. The role also involves maintaining certification levels, following internal field service mechanisms, weekly reporting on projects and service tickets, escalation management, and conducting lessons learned sessions. The position requires experience with Cisco, Aruba, Dell, Alcatel, Ruckus solutions, knowledge of PCI-DSS security domains, and certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, ACDX, or AQPS. The role supports Al-Futtaim Engineering & Technologies infrastructure services including networking solutions, IP telephony, ELV systems, digital transformation, and managed services across enterprise and real estate environments.
