Job description
Atlantis The Palm runs the world's largest waterpark alongside pools, spas, fountains and an aquarium home to 65,000 marine animals, and this Manager role leads the Water Quality Department behind all of it. Treatment, distribution, testing and monitoring across every water system in scope keep the resort's pools, water features and waterpark running without disruption. You'll oversee filtration, circulation and chemical dosing systems, backed by preventive maintenance strategies that keep reliability and efficiency high. Compliance runs through the role too, covering company policy, Dubai Municipality requirements and applicable health regulations, with accurate records kept for testing, inspections and certifications. Incidents get investigated with corrective and preventive action, and safe work practices including PPE use stay front of mind across the team. Budgets and CAPEX planning fall under this role's remit, alongside cost control measures and efficient resource use across the department. Cross functional work with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Health & Safety and external authorities supports audits, inspections and compliance reviews. You're expected to bring at least 3 years in a leadership or management role, ideally with hospitality, waterpark or large scale pool experience. Team leadership extends into full HR responsibility for direct reports, covering recruitment, performance management, coaching and Kerzner's people processes such as CES and SAP.
