Job description
Electrical installations across KDD's Sabhan facilities are installed, commissioned, tested and validated under this Supervisor's watch. Each project begins with a review of specifications, drawings and user requirements to define what the electrical works need. Contractors and subcontractors carry out much of the work, so supervision of quality, safety and progress is constant. Inspections confirm that installations match approved drawings and specifications, and site problems are resolved as they appear. Testing, commissioning and handover documentation are kept complete. Safety procedures, risk assessments and standards such as NEC and ISO 50001 shape how the work is done. Project Managers receive regular progress reports, and schedules, resources and materials are planned with them. Technicians rely on you for technical guidance. Candidates need a Bachelor's in electrical engineering and at least 5 years in electrical installation, commissioning, testing and project supervision, with industrial or manufacturing experience preferred.

Key responsibilities
- Review project specifications, drawings and user requirements to define electrical installation needs
- Supervise electrical installation, commissioning, testing and validation activities
- Ensure electrical works meet KDD standards, approved specifications, international standards and safety regulations
- Monitor the progress and quality of electrical works for timely completion
- Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, contractors, consultants and other departments
- Inspect electrical installations against approved drawings, specifications and quality requirements
- Resolve electrical installation issues, technical problems and site challenges
- Verify electrical drawings, layouts, specifications and technical documentation
- Oversee contractors and subcontractors for compliance with project, safety and quality requirements
- Conduct testing, commissioning and validation of electrical systems and equipment
- Document inspections, testing, commissioning and handover activities
- Track the use of electrical materials, tools and equipment against approved standards
- Arrange preventive and corrective actions on electrical systems
- Participate in risk assessments and safety inspections
- Guide electrical technicians and team members technically
- Report project status, issues and completion to the Project Manager
- Prepare project schedules, resource requirements and material requirements
- Deliver electrical works within approved scope, schedule, quality and budget
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Bring a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical installation, commissioning, testing and project supervision
- Show experience supervising electrical installation and project activities
- Demonstrate experience coordinating contractors and subcontractors on electrical works
- Offer experience in industrial or manufacturing environments (preferred)
- Interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation accurately
- Know applicable electrical standards, codes and safety requirements
- Troubleshoot electrical systems with strong problem-solving skills
- Use relevant engineering software alongside Microsoft Office
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
