Job description
The Senior Proposition Manager - Retail Banking is responsible for delivering business growth through strategic initiatives, focusing on customer insights and segment proposition development. Based in Muscat, Oman, this role involves identifying growth opportunities that significantly contribute to the bankās portfolio by creating compelling segment propositions through varied distribution models including physical, digital, and voice channels. The role emphasizes a customer-obsessed approach, requiring deep understanding of customer lifecycle stages to commercialize propositions that drive deeper wallet share and cross-selling. The incumbent works closely with product teams to design segment-specific ecosystem propositions and applies a problem-solving mindset to develop iterative solutions that address real customer pain points. Responsibilities include conducting customer research and analytics, supporting product and distribution teams in executing propositions, growth hacking, and performance marketing. The role demands strong capabilities in preparing performance reports, deriving deep customer insights, and developing bespoke business solutions. Applicants must have at least 10 yearsā experience in retail banking product management, ideally with exposure to fintech partnerships, CRM systems, Salesforce, and lead management. A background in product development is essential. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication, organizational, leadership, and team management skills, as well as analytical expertise and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment. Understanding of project management techniques, performance evaluation, change management principles, retail banking systems, and local Omani regulatory requirements is also required. Omani nationals are preferred for this role. The position offers the opportunity to work with large organizations, big agencies, and within a regulatory banking landscape to create industry-leading propositions for retail banking customers in Oman.

Experience & skills
- Bachelorās Degree
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in retail banking product management in a reputable financial institution
- Background in product development and experience with fintech partnerships
- Strong understanding of Oman banking landscape and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
- Experience working with CRM systems, Salesforce, and lead management tools
