Job description
The Senior Product Engineer will be responsible for advancing Finacle Core Banking product implementations, customizations, and integrations. This role demands hands-on expertise in Finacle 11, interfacing requirements, and system architecture while engaging directly with clients to design, customize, and optimize banking solutions. The engineer will ensure high-quality technical delivery, adherence to coding and security standards, and drive improvements in Finacle applications, reports, and integration layers.

Key responsibilities
- Work on Finacle Core Banking product customizations and enhancements
- Develop and debug custom menus, reports, and batch jobs

- Design and implement SQL/PL-SQL database solutions aligned with Finacle
- Collaborate with clients for requirement gathering and solution delivery
- Optimize EOD/BOD processes and troubleshoot system issues
- Design and customize reports using MRT and Jasper tools
- Maintain coding, security, testing, and documentation best practices
- Provide functional and technical expertise on Finacle Core Banking
- Work in Agile teams to deliver product features and enhancements
- Benchmark Finacle capabilities against industry best practices
- Advise teams on technical architecture and scalable design
Experience & skills
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Finacle Core Banking product
- Strong expertise in Finacle 11 customization architecture
- Experience with Finacle APIs, Connect24, and Finacle Integrator
- Solid knowledge of Oracle SQL/PL-SQL and Unix shell scripting
- Practical exposure to Finacle CRM and Admin modules (FINFADM/SSOADM)
- Strong understanding of banking domain and core banking processes
- Knowledge of EOD-BOD processing and system debugging
- Experience in Agile delivery frameworks
- Excellent interpersonal, client engagement, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and able to drive tasks independently
