Job description

The Senior Manager - Project Control at Petrofac is responsible for developing systems and procedures to support project control functions throughout the project life cycle. This includes creating project master schedules using Primavera P3, guiding planning teams in developing control procedures and schedules (level 1-4), and establishing progress measurement systems like manpower histograms and S curves. The role involves implementing and monitoring work schedules, preparing periodic progress reports, resolving scheduling conflicts, and maintaining timely execution of projects. The manager will coordinate internal and client reviews, ensure that all project control documents are developed and reviewed, and address engineering and procurement interfaces. The role also includes performing diagnostic studies on ongoing projects to compare progress against plans, providing feedback, and formulating action plans. Additionally, the role supports proposal planning and other duties as directed. The position requires approximately 20 years of oil and gas industry experience and expertise in both head office and site planning.
