Job description
Manual review doesn't scale at the volume Deriv runs, and this Senior Compliance Analyst role exists to close that gap through continuous monitoring, automated screening, and audit trails that hold up to regulatory scrutiny. You safeguard the business and its clients by driving a strong culture of compliance across operations, making sure internal processes meet regulatory and policy requirements. AI-enhanced tools sit at the center of the work, helping assess issues faster, support decision-making, and drive lasting improvements across the organisation. Flagged accounts and transaction activity get investigated to surface compliance concerns, while comprehensive customer due diligence reviews get run against internal policy and regulatory requirements. High-value deposits and withdrawals go through AI-powered review procedures, and clients get screened against PEP lists, global sanctions databases, and adverse media. You prepare compliance reports built to withstand scrutiny, support regulatory filings, and work directly with operational and product teams to explain what compliance actually requires. Weak points in compliance processes get identified and fixed, not just flagged, and you provide clear, defensible answers on complex compliance questions when the rest of the team isn't sure. This role carries real ownership. Getting a call wrong means regulatory exposure, and every judgment needs to hold up in front of internal teams, auditors, and sometimes regulators.
Required skills

- Carry out comprehensive customer reviews and due diligence checks, deciding on adherence to internal policy and regulatory requirements
