A landmark residential community in Dubai is taking shape around nature-led living, blending contemporary homes with extensive green spaces, wellness-focused amenities, and sustainable infrastructure, and this MEP Design Manager role sits at the technical center of that delivery. You will manage and coordinate the MEP design process across all project stages to hit programme, quality, and commercial objectives, working to keep designs high-quality, safe, and profitable. Collaboration between consultants, project teams, and stakeholders gets facilitated to keep design delivery integrated, while design progress is monitored continuously to catch risks early and put mitigation measures in place. Mechanical, electrical, public health, fire protection, and specialist systems designs all fall under the same coordination, reviewed against project requirements, local authority regulations, and applicable industry standards. Multidisciplinary interfaces between MEP, architectural, structural, and infrastructure design teams need coordinating too, alongside monitoring consultant performance to keep milestones on track. Design workshops, value engineering studies, and technical review meetings get facilitated with key stakeholders, and design issues get resolved through coordinated responses to technical queries as they arise. Risk management, change control, and design assurance activities run throughout the project lifecycle, with client representatives, consultants, contractors, operators, and authorities all part of securing design approvals. Sustainability, energy efficiency, and operational requirements stay woven into the MEP design strategy for the development's retail and mixed-use components.
