Job description
The Senior Associate in Cyber Transformation & GRC at PwC will be part of the Cyber Security & Digital Trust team within the Digital & Cyber Consulting practice, delivering transformation projects for clients across the GCC. This role involves supporting the development and implementation of cyber security strategies, governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, and advanced cyber technologies. The candidate will assist in designing technical security architectures using standards like NIST, CIS, and ISO27, and solutions like threat intelligence, DLP, SIEM, next-gen firewalls, and enterprise incident response. Additional duties include supporting SOC design and implementation, collaborating with vendors and integrators, conducting research, preparing technical and financial proposals, contributing to business development, and delivering presentations. The role demands excellent communication skills, flexibility, and strong organizational capabilities. The position requires regional travel and offers access to PwC’s global training and tools for career growth.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Work under the supervision of cyber security leadership within the Technology Consulting practice
- Support in the design and development of cyber security programs in domains such as strategy, GRC, architecture, and IAM
- Assist in the design of target technical security architectures based on NIST, CIS, ISO27 and other standards
- Support the implementation of cyber security solutions including threat intelligence, DLP, SIEM, and enterprise incident response
- Design and support security operations centers with appropriate facilities, processes, technologies, and staffing
- Collaborate with vendors and system integrators during cyber security solution implementations
- Communicate effectively with IT staff, executives, and users in verbal and written formats
- Coordinate and deliver presentations to various stakeholders
- Support business development activities including technical and financial proposal development
- Conduct research on emerging cyber security technologies and disseminate findings internally and to clients
- Contribute to the development of new cyber security service offerings
- Collaborate with PwC teams across the Middle East and international offices
- Engage in internal initiatives and client engagements regionally
Experience & skills
- Hold a B.A/B.Sc. in Computer Engineering or related field (M.Sc. preferred)
- Have 3–5 years of relevant experience in cyber security
- Demonstrate strong understanding of cyber security technologies and standards including NIST, CIS, ISO27
- Possess specialized experience in IAM, GRC, SIEM/SOC, and DLP (preferred)
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
- Be achievement-oriented, adaptable, and resilient under pressure
- Possess excellent English communication skills (Arabic is a plus)
- Be willing and able to travel within the Middle East
- Demonstrate IT proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-suite applications
- Show ability to learn new concepts and conduct technical research
- Maintain or develop strong client relationships in Saudi Arabia and the UAE (preferred)
