Job description
The Commercial Account Manager β Networking at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) in Dubai is responsible for driving sales growth, managing strategic customer relationships, and expanding networking solution opportunities across commercial accounts. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building pipelines, and collaborating with account managers and partners to close complex deals. The position requires deep knowledge of networking solutions, IT infrastructure, and competitor offerings, along with strong consultative selling skills. The Commercial Account Manager works closely with mid-to-large enterprise clients, engaging at executive levels to understand business challenges and propose tailored solutions. The role also involves forecasting revenue, managing quotas, and contributing to cross-functional initiatives that support business growth and customer success.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and drive a strong sales pipeline by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing customer accounts across networking solutions
- Establish and maintain consultative relationships with customers, including engagement with C-level executives in mid-to-large organizations
- Collaborate with account managers and cross-functional teams to develop business strategies and deliver integrated technology solutions
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of competitors and industry trends to strategically position HPE networking products and services
- Lead complex sales cycles including prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and closing of opportunities
- Develop quota objectives and contribute to sales planning and forecasting for defined product categories
- Support business development initiatives and provide subject matter expertise for networking solutions
- Coordinate supporting sales activities including technical presentations, demos, and customer workshops
- Leverage partners and external stakeholders to strengthen solution delivery and enhance customer outcomes
- Drive contractual renewals, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities to increase total contract value
- Represent HPE in customer meetings, industry events, and executive briefings to strengthen brand positioning
- Utilize CRM tools such as Siebel to track pipeline, forecast revenue, and manage account planning activities
Experience & skills
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent professional experience
- 8β12 years of advanced sales experience in IT or networking solutions
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas
- Extensive experience in enterprise or commercial account management
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies and IT infrastructure solutions
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and high-value deals
- Ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders and decision-makers
- Project management skills and experience managing cross-functional initiatives
- Strong understanding of competitive landscape and market positioning
- Experience working with partners and ecosystem vendors to deliver solutions
