The Operations Director – Environmental Sciences at M42 in Abu Dhabi is responsible for leading and overseeing the end-to-end operations of CTL Labs and Rasid Lab within the Environmental Sciences division of a large healthcare and precision medicine organization. The role ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and strategic alignment across laboratory services that support public health, environmental monitoring, and national healthcare priorities. The position operates within M42’s Integrated Health Solutions platform, leveraging advanced analytics and scientific expertise to assess environmental and non-human health determinants. The Operations Director ensures full compliance with international laboratory accreditation standards such as ISO and local regulatory frameworks while maintaining EQA and IQA quality assurance programs. The role drives continuous improvement in productivity, turnaround time (TAT), and service delivery performance, while overseeing capacity expansion, new testing capabilities, and service diversification initiatives. The position requires strong stakeholder engagement with government entities and regulatory bodies, ensuring alignment with public sector health objectives and partners such as QCC. The role also includes leadership of multidisciplinary teams, workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning, while maintaining health, safety, environmental, and business continuity standards across laboratory operations.
