Job description
Qiddiya is seeking a BIM Developer to lead innovation in digital construction technologies across one of Saudi Arabiaās most transformative Vision 2030 projects. This role requires designing and developing custom BIM tools and integrated web applications to enhance productivity, automate compliance, and support Digital Twin implementation. The candidate will work across software development, data visualization, and digital engineering disciplines. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape scalable BIM workflows, build digital ecosystems using cloud platforms, and deliver smart infrastructure solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives focused on BIM innovation, automation, and smart digital workflows
- Design and develop custom BIM tools using Autodesk Forge, Revit API, Dynamo, Python, and C#
- Create dashboards with Power BI, Autodesk Forge, and ACC Insight to visualize KPIs and coordination status
- Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Core and React integrated with cloud services like Azure or AWS
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration between frontend and backend BIM systems
- Write scripts and plug-ins to automate workflows within Revit using Dynamo, Python, and C#
- Optimize database schemas and write efficient SQL queries using SQL Server or similar databases
- Contribute to Digital Twin frameworks in alignment with ISO 19650 standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated web, database, and BIM solutions
- Conduct QA tests to identify and resolve issues in developed tools and applications
- Research and recommend emerging technologies in AI, automation, and data analytics for BIM advancement
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Expertise in Revit API, Dynamo, Python, and C#
- Experience with Autodesk Platform Services (Forge) and Power BI
- Understanding of ISO 19650 and Digital Twin frameworks
- Proficiency in ASP.NET Core and C# for web development
- Strong React development experience
- Database expertise with SQL Server and writing SQL queries
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
- RESTful API development for system integration
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Git version control
- Bonus: Experience with WPF and MVVM pattern
- Bonus: Experience with Digital Twins and Autodesk Tandem
- Bonus: Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM tools to support Forge API integration
