Job description
The Associate Manager - Fulfillment in Riyadh is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company’s e-commerce fulfillment, including picking, marshalling, dispatching, and last mile planning. The role ensures operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and adherence to organizational goals. This includes implementing effective operating models with internal and third-party service providers, establishing quality control measures, monitoring production KPIs, and maintaining stock adequacy within dark stores. The role also requires active coordination with stores to ensure timely delivery, order quality, and overall customer satisfaction. Additionally, the Associate Manager contributes to company strategy communication, manages budget compliance, provides mentorship to develop talent pipelines, and leads operational issue resolution when required.

Key responsibilities
- Implement an effective operating model for e-commerce fulfillment using internal and/or third-party service providers
- Develop and enforce detailed operational processes, quality control measures, and KPIs for fulfillment operations
- Manage day-to-day e-commerce fulfillment including picking, marshalling, and dispatching
- Ensure proper arrangement of dark stores and maintain stock adequacy
- Monitor production KPIs such as picking rates and continuously improve operational efficiency
- Coordinate internal communication of company strategy and objectives within the fulfillment team
- Manage customer service functions to ensure satisfaction with online orders
- Establish control mechanisms to ensure budget compliance and take corrective actions as needed
- Plan and allocate last mile resources daily in line with business needs and upcoming events
- Provide mentorship and development to build a continuous talent pipeline for key roles
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce or Business Administration
- 5–7 years of professional experience in supply chain, e-commerce fulfillment, and last mile operations
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce fulfillment processes and supply chain operations
- Experience with KPI monitoring and operational process development
- Commercial awareness and understanding of cost control
- Ability to manage teams, mentor staff, and develop talent
- Proficient in coordinating with internal and third-party service providers
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve operational issues
- Experience in customer service management within e-commerce context
- Ability to plan and reallocate resources effectively in a fast-paced environment
