Job description

This Secondary Mathematics Teacher joins that campus, where students follow the National Curriculum of England adapted to Qatar's culture, heritage and values. Teaching covers IGCSE, AS/A Level and IB Mathematics, so depth of subject knowledge across all three matters. Lessons are expected to be outstanding, with high expectations for every learner. Character development sits at the centre of school life, alongside strong pastoral care. Extracurricular activities are part of the commitment to the wider school community. Staff are expected in-country by mid-August for orientation and induction. Candidates need a Bachelor's in Education or equivalent and a teaching qualification such as a PGCE or QTS with an Early Career Teaching Certificate. Extensive experience with the National Curriculum of England is essential, and appointment depends on an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
