Job description
The Sales Expert role at Foodics is a critical business operations and sales position focused on driving growth through sourcing, closing, and maximizing revenue from new and existing partners, with a strong emphasis on selling SaaS software solutions to restaurants. Foodics is a leading restaurant management ecosystem and payment technology provider founded in 2014, headquartered in Riyadh with offices across the UAE, Egypt, Jordan, and Kuwait, serving customers and partners in over 35 countries worldwide. The Sales Expert contributes directly to expanding Foodicsâ international reach and strengthening collaboration with digital third-party integration applications. The role requires maintaining a high closing ratio on qualified leads, achieving daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs, and generating a robust sales pipeline. Responsibilities include leveraging digital marketing campaigns and industry networking events for lead generation, converting demo sessions into confirmed sales, managing relationships with strategic partners, and using CRM systems for meticulous tracking and reporting. The role emphasizes a data-driven sales approach, continuous skill development through product and sales training, and an innovative mindset aligned with a fast-paced SaaS startup environment. The position is on-site in Dubai and requires mobility for fieldwork, fluency in English and Arabic, and proven experience in IT, FMCG, Software, or SaaS sales environments.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets by maintaining a high closing ratio on qualified leads and meeting defined KPIs
- Generate new sales leads through digital marketing campaigns and participation in industry networking events
- Convert demo sessions into confirmed SaaS software sales for restaurant clients
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with new, existing, and potential strategic partners to ensure future sales growth
- Utilize CRM systems to follow up on customer projects and cases with accurate tracking and reporting of sales activities
- Leverage data analysis and CRM insights to inform sales strategies and optimize sales performance
- Build and manage a sales pipeline equivalent to four times the monthly sales quota
- Complete scheduled training sessions on new product features and advanced sales techniques and achieve high product knowledge assessment scores
- Contribute innovative ideas and maintain a dynamic startup mindset to support continuous business growth
Experience & skills
- Hold a BS/BA degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Possess 4â5 years of direct sales experience in Information Technology, FMCG, Software, or SaaS industries
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrate fluency in English and Arabic, with additional languages considered an advantage
- Hold a valid driverâs license with access to a personal car and willingness to conduct fieldwork
- Demonstrate ability to work independently across functional groups and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Show adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving SaaS environment
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for technology and working within a fast-growing SaaS company
