Job description
Manage a set of existing Small Enterprise (SE) relationships and originate new SE relationships within local business communities around branch locations. This role is focused on meeting borrowing and non-borrowing needs of SME customers by offering full banking solutions and managing all aspects of the relationship including service, compliance, sales, and credit risk. It involves client acquisition, up-selling and cross-selling bank products, ensuring compliance, and upgrading relationships to mid-enterprise (ME) category.

Key responsibilities
- Improve share of wallet and become the primary bank for assigned relationships
- Enhance revenue from the existing borrowing and non-borrowing portfolio by cross-selling bank products
- Own complete relationship management for the assigned portfolio
- Provide superior customer service to all clients
- Conduct timely annual/periodic credit reviews and recommend appropriate credit facilities
- Monitor account conduct and rectify credit issues early
- Ensure documentation, client visits, stock inspections, and credit checks are up to date
- Maintain portfolio quality within acceptable risk parameters
- Identify and pursue NTB (new-to-bank) opportunities
- Liaise between advisors for accurate agreement execution
- Support development of SSO (Sales Support Officer) professional capabilities
- Collaborate with risk, sales, and enabler units to achieve business goals
- Meet financial and non-financial performance targets
- Ensure compliance with regulatory policies including KYC and AML
- Provide regular updates to branch and regional SE managers
- Upgrade suitable SE customers to ME segment through tailored solutions
Experience & skills
- University Graduate (preferably with a finance, banking, or math component)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business banking as RO or RM
- Excellent knowledge of business banking products including FX, TWC, Insurance, and Investments
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Customer-focused mindset
- Computer literacy
