Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Strategy & Planning Specialist to join our team at Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC). In this role, you will support strategic planning and the operational decision-making process for our catering facility. You will analyze key performance metrics, develop business intelligence reports, evaluate projects, and ensure that strategic initiatives align with operational goals. You will work closely with senior management and operational teams to drive efficiency, innovation, and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of strategic plans for the catering facility
- Work closely with senior management to evaluate new opportunities, challenges, and industry trends
- Provide market research and operational data insights to aid decision-making
- Develop and maintain KPIs and performance dashboards focused on efficiency, cost control, and service quality
- Utilize BI tools, AI, and analytics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Conduct forecasting and scenario analysis to support business continuity and growth
- Assess strategic projects for feasibility, financial impact, and business goal alignment
- Build business cases from scratch and present to stakeholders for approvals
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive successful project implementation
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with standards
- Partner with operations, finance, IT, and procurement teams to align strategies with execution
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance service delivery and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Prepare reports, presentations, and strategic updates for senior leadership
- Facilitate strategy meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Support senior management in strategic planning and high-level decision-making
- Regularly evaluate departmental objectives, plans, and procedures, implementing changes where needed
- Train and develop employees to support succession planning
- Identify and implement best practices to improve administrative efficiency and workforce planning
Experience & skills
- Bachelor Degree with minimum 5 years of jobārelated experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong influencing and negotiations skills
- Maintain strict confidentiality of records and information
- Expert knowledge of AI, BI tools, and dashboard building
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Access, PowerPoint
- Proficiency with Oracle Financials
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders including operations, production, HR, and commercial teams
