Job description
Home Centre, part of the Landmark Group, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer specializing in packaging graphics for its diverse range of home furnishing products. The role requires strategic thinking, creative execution, and technical expertise to develop packaging that is visually compelling, functional, and aligned with category-specific guidelines. The designer will collaborate closely with business teams, conduct competitor studies and consumer feedback analysis, and ensure packaging designs are delivered within budget and timelines. This is an opportunity to contribute to one of the GCC’s largest omnichannel home furnishing retailers.

Key responsibilities
- Interpret business and market needs to develop packaging graphics accordingly.
- Create category-specific packaging graphic guidelines and ensure consistent application across products.
- Design packaging that balances functionality with strong visual appeal.
- Illustrate concepts through rough layouts of art and copy, considering arrangement, type size, style, and aesthetics.
- Generate innovative ideas and concepts for packaging solutions.
- Develop packaging designs using insights from consumer feedback, in-store checks, and competitor studies.
- Monitor and adhere to allocated budgets for packaging design, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Experience & skills
- Graduate with Diploma/Certification in Graphic Design and Adobe Photoshop.
- 6–8 years of experience as a Graphic Designer in packaging development.
- Experience developing packaging graphics for home furnishing products is an advantage.
- Expertise with Illustrator, Photoshop, QuarkXPress, FreeHand, 3ds Max, and Acrobat.
- Strong knowledge of color theory, reproduction, printing, and post-printing operations.
- Proficiency in photo editing and photography skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Creative thinker with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluency in Arabic is preferred.
