Job description
HSBCâs International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) division seeks a Premier Acquisition Manager to acquire quality new-to-bank Premier customers and cross-sell relevant products at the time of account onboarding. The role delivers against assigned targets using a need-based selling approach (EDRAS), while upholding group standards for customer service, compliance, and technical product knowledge across propositions. The mandate includes building a new sourcing model for premium, new-to-bank customers; focusing on Premier acquisition alongside borrowing and revolving products; collaborating across channels to ensure other proposition accounts are referred to Employee Banking Solutions (EBS) channels; and supporting adjacent IWPB lines such as Mortgage, Wealth, and HSBC Expats. Responsibilities span acquisition execution, cross-line collaboration, adherence to global service standards and accreditation, competitor proposition awareness, and effective, seamless handover of customer relationships to teams with the appropriate skills to manage them, all in line with divisional business targets and operating objectives.

- Meet group standards of customer service, compliance, and technical knowledge through ongoing training and accreditation
- Collaborate with internal channels to drive additional value and ensure proposition accounts are shared with EBS channels
- Focus on Premier acquisition while promoting borrowing and revolving products as appropriate
- Support cross-line businesses including Mortgage, Wealth, and HSBC Expats to maximize overall proposition value
- Ensure effective and seamless handover of customer relationships to teams with the appropriate skills to manage them
- Maintain awareness of competitor activity and propositions to inform acquisition strategy
- Contribute to achieving divisional business targets through disciplined sales execution and documentation
Experience & skills
- Graduation degree (required to secure UAE visa and work permit)
- Full understanding of IWPB products and services, including global service standards, with the ability to communicate them to customers
- Proven experience selling to and working with high net worth individuals
- Demonstrated ability to develop a networking strategy and achieve sales targets
- Knowledge of competitor activity and propositions within the market
- Strong understanding of the HSBC Group, including cross-business awareness
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
