Job description
The Manager Credit ā Wealth Management (UAE National) role at Emirates NBD is focused on overseeing the credit processes related to real estate facilities and rental monitoring within the Wealth Management division. The position involves ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of credit operations related to rental contracts and customer accounts. The incumbent will reconcile rental details between contracts and account statements, verify and record contract expiries, and follow up on renewals with Relationship Managers. The role also entails identifying and escalating discrepancies, monitoring turnaround times, and ensuring adherence to audit standards to maintain a low-risk operational environment. The Manager acts as a key liaison between the business and clients, providing timely advice and ensuring credit documentation and monitoring procedures meet the bankās compliance and risk requirements. This position requires strong analytical and organizational skills, precision in financial reconciliation, and the ability to manage operational timelines within a dynamic banking environment.

Key responsibilities
- Ensure that submitted rental details match between Excel sheets, contracts, and account statements
- Verify and record rental contract expiries, maintaining accurate monitoring and follow-up schedules
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to ensure timely renewal of contracts and accurate documentation
- Monitor turnaround times and ensure timely advice is provided to business teams regarding any rental discrepancies, delays, or nonpayments
- Identify, document, and escalate discrepancies or delays in rental payments to the relevant teams
- Ensure that all rental monitoring activities adhere to the bankās audit and compliance standards
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and minimize audit comments to low-risk categories
- Support Wealth Management credit functions by ensuring consistent and accurate operational processes
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in credit monitoring
- Provide feedback and advice to business units to ensure alignment with Emirates NBDās risk and operational policies
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelorās degree in a relevant discipline
- Have approximately 2 years of experience within a credit department in a bank
- Strong understanding of credit monitoring processes and risk management principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data reconciliation
- Ability to review and verify financial and contractual documentation accurately
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Good communication and coordination abilities to interact effectively with relationship teams and clients
- Understanding of real estate and rental facility credit structures preferred
- Ability to manage operational deadlines and ensure compliance with audit requirements
- UAE National candidates preferred as per role designation
