Job description
The Government Account Executive at Lucidya is responsible for driving revenue growth and building long-term strategic partnerships with ministries and public institutions in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on understanding government objectives, introducing AI-driven CX solutions, and managing full sales cycles including discovery, solution positioning, PoC coordination, RFP submission, negotiation, and contract closure. The position requires navigating structured procurement environments, ensuring compliance with regulations, and demonstrating measurable impact through AI-powered customer experience solutions.

Key responsibilities
- Own government revenue targets and drive sustainable ARR growth within public sector accounts.
- Identify and shape opportunities early, prior to formal RFP issuance.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles: stakeholder mapping, discovery, solution positioning, PoC coordination, RFP submission, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Navigate Etimad and other formal government procurement processes confidently.
- Lead and coordinate Proof of Concepts (PoCs) that clearly demonstrate measurable impact for ministries and public institutions.
- Build trusted relationships with decision-makers, procurement teams, and executive sponsors.
- Maintain and grow a portfolio of government clients, with at least five strategic accounts preferred.
- Ensure pipeline quality and forecasting accuracy for long government sales cycles.
- Handle objections related to compliance, data privacy, security, and public accountability.
- Stay informed about regulatory frameworks, procurement updates, and competitive positioning within the government ecosystem.
Experience & skills
- Saudi national.
- 4+ years of experience in government or public sector technology sales.
- Proven track record of closing deals with government entities.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, RFP cycles, compliance documentation, and approvals.
- Experience working in B2B SaaS environments.
- Ability to communicate complex AI solutions clearly and credibly.
- Detail-oriented and structured with strong documentation and follow-through skills.
- Effective collaboration with internal technical and delivery teams.
- Experience with analytics, CX platforms, AI, or social listening solutions is highly preferred.
