Job description
The role leads the finance operations team responsible for accurate booking of all financial transactions and execution of treasury operations including payables, collections, credit control, insurance, documentary credit, financial guarantees, bank funding, cash management, and pooling in line with internal policies, controls, budgetary ownership, and IFRS. It controls, analyzes, and optimizes Group operating and financing cash flows and utilization of bank facilities through monthly cash flow planning and forecasting with the CFO to ensure adequate liquidity at the right cost. Responsibilities include supporting compliance with fiscal matters in KSA such as VAT and Zakat, assisting the Group FC and CFO with monthly and statutory reporting and the statutory audit, and managing key external relationships with banking partners, statutory auditors, credit insurers, and tax advisory. The role actively manages bank debt and funding portfolios through review, forecasting, and planning of operating and financing cash flows and KPI tracking versus covenants. It supports funding strategy development, capital structure planning, and securing bank facilities to optimize financing costs, while leading and developing the Accounting team. Additional duties include supporting HR with payroll review and disbursements, business expenses, and reward mechanisms; assisting Corporate Commercial Finance and IT with SAP setups and other software integrations; adhering to functional policies, systems, processes, SOPs, standards, and MIS reporting requirements; and contributing to continuous improvement of departmental systems and practices aligned with international best practices for cost reduction, process enhancement, and productivity improvement.

Key responsibilities
- Book and record all financial transactions in accordance with budget ownership, internal policies, controls, and IFRS
- Execute treasury operations including payables, collections, credit control, insurance, documentary credit, financial guarantees, bank funding, cash management, and pooling
- Perform monthly cash flow planning and forecasting to ensure liquidity adequacy and appropriate cost of funds
- Manage and service bank debt and funding portfolios through review, forecasting, planning, and KPI tracking versus covenants
- Support funding strategy, capital structure development, and securing bank facilities to optimize financing costs
- Prepare KSA fiscal reporting and ensure VAT and Zakat regulatory compliance
- Lead and develop the Accounting team to strengthen operational capability
- Support HR with payroll review, disbursement of business expenses, and administration of reward mechanisms
- Assist Corporate Commercial Finance and IT with SAP and other system integrations
- Utilize MS Office Advance and ERP systems to support financial operations
- Follow functional policies, processes, SOPs, and instructions to ensure controlled and consistent operations
- Assist in preparing accurate and timely MIS statements and reports
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement aligned with international best practices for process enhancement, cost reduction, and productivity gains
Experience & skills
- Be a qualified accountant from an IFAC-accredited institution
- Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a mid-level finance leadership role within a multinational organization of $300M+ scale
- Demonstrate strong background in Accounting and Reporting, Accounting Operations, Treasury Management, and Business Controls
- Possess excellent data and analytical skills for financial interpretation and scrutiny
- Exhibit strong presentation and communication capabilities to interact across management levels
- Maintain superior attention to detail with ability to handle competing priorities while retaining big-picture perspective
- Apply organizing capability and strong interpersonal skills to manage diverse financial activities
