Job description
Accurate, timely accounting for payroll and employee-related payments sits at the core of this Treasury Accountant role at SADAFCO, alongside maintaining assigned General Ledger accounts, reconciliations, and period-close activities. You coordinate closely with Human Resources, Payroll, and Finance to deliver complete, properly approved, and auditable transactions. Approved payroll, employee loans, salary advances, deductions, incentives, commissions, bonuses, and allowances all get processed and accounted for here, alongside end-of-service benefits, final settlements, leave encashment, and expense claims. Approvals, employee references, amounts, cost centers, and supporting documents get validated before anything moves through processing. You prepare and post accurate SAP/ERP journal entries for payroll and employee-related transactions, then reconcile assigned General Ledger and balance-sheet accounts, including payroll liabilities, employee loans, advances, and clearing accounts. Monthly accruals, provisions, reclassifications, and account analyses get prepared regularly, with outstanding or unmatched items investigated and cleared promptly. Closing activities each month, quarter, and year-end run in line with the Finance timetable, keeping expenses and liabilities recorded in the correct legal entity, period, cost center, and account. Complete supporting documents and audit trails stay in place for every transaction, with schedules and reconciliations prepared for management, auditors, and other Finance teams as needed.
