Job description
The Engagement/Consulting Manager - Infrastructure Advisory at Jacobs is responsible for delivering strategic consulting services across infrastructure projects in Riyadh and the broader Saudi Arabian regions. The role focuses on master planning, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, optimization projects, sustainability policy frameworks, and independent reviews to provide strategic analysis supporting significant investment decisions and resolving complex technical challenges. The manager provides technical input, develops innovative solutions to problems lacking precedent, integrates diverse specialist inputs, leverages senior practitioners globally, and collaborates across AI, planning, buildings, and infrastructure teams. The role emphasizes monitoring industry developments, recommending technical or procedural changes, contributing to thought leadership, and ensuring delivery of high-quality outputs within tight timelines while adhering to client and company policies. This position is hybrid-based, supporting Jacobsā strategy of combining in-person engagement with flexible remote work.

Key responsibilities
- Provide technical input for consulting projects delivered by Jacobs
- Develop technical and high-level commercial skills to deliver integrated solutions
- Formulate and develop innovative solutions to complex problems characterized by lack of precedent
- Develop technical skills in areas of specialization and integrate diverse specialist inputs
- Leverage senior practitioners across the region and globally to support consulting projects
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver goals and targets of the Project Consulting section and wider Buildings and Infrastructure team
- Provide technical input and high-level thinking for 'Front end' consulting projects including master planning, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, optimization projects, thought leadership, and training
- Collaborate with existing Jacobs practitioners regionally and globally to refine and define service offerings and lead strategic growth of service lines
- Provide key technical input linking technical, economic, and financial consulting capabilities globally
- Track and contribute to industry developments and ensure Jacobs applies the latest technical methods
- Target areas for innovation and develop solutions addressing work challenges
- Keep abreast of new methods and developments impacting Jacobs and recommend changes
- Liaise with research bodies and leading technical organizations locally
Experience & skills
- Possess a degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or equivalent
- Have 8+ years of experience in strategic consulting or consulting advisory roles
- Demonstrate ability to deliver high-quality outputs under tight timeframes
- Understand and follow company and client policies and procedures
- Be self-motivated and capable of working independently and as part of distributed teams
- Exhibit strong analytical and logical thinking skills
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing capabilities
- Have previous experience within the Middle East or international consulting industry preferred
