Job description
The Store Manager (Russian Speaker) will oversee daily operations of the Hypermarket / Supermarket in the UAE, ensuring a smooth and efficient store environment. Responsibilities include managing store operations, maintaining high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and organization. The role involves leading, motivating, and supervising employees, providing guidance and training, overseeing inventory management including stock levels, ordering, and product displays, monitoring sales performance, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and legal standards, resolving customer complaints, managing employee schedules, conducting performance evaluations, implementing promotional strategies, maintaining communication with suppliers and vendors, and analyzing sales data and customer feedback to drive improvements. The position requires experience in retail store management within hypermarkets or supermarkets, knowledge of inventory management and merchandising, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of the Hypermarket / Supermarket, ensuring high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and organization

Experience & skills
- Have proven experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager in a retail Hypermarket / Supermarket, with a strong track record of meeting sales targets and operational excellence
- Possess extensive knowledge of supermarket and hypermarket operations, including inventory management, stock ordering, merchandising, planograms, and product placement strategies
- Demonstrate expertise in team leadership, with the ability to train, motivate, and develop store staff, conduct performance appraisals, and resolve team conflicts effectively
- Exhibit strong organizational skills, capable of managing employee schedules, optimizing workflow, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance throughout the store
- Have excellent customer service knowledge, including complaint resolution, service recovery strategies, and the ability to create a positive shopping experience that drives loyalty and repeat business
- Show capability in analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to develop actionable insights, promotional strategies, and operational improvements that maximize revenue and efficiency
- Be familiar with health, safety, and legal compliance requirements in the UAE retail sector, ensuring the store consistently adheres to regulatory standards and internal protocols
- Possess flexibility and resilience to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays, while maintaining high performance under pressure
