The Sales Manager β Commercial Vehicles at Al-Futtaim Automotive (FAMCO), part of Al-Futtaim Private Company LLC, is responsible for leading the commercial vehicle sales business across the Riyadh region in Saudi Arabia. The Sales Manager β Commercial Vehicles is responsible for driving the growth of the commercial vehicles business through strategic sales leadership, revenue generation, and market expansion initiatives. The role requires building and managing relationships with both new and existing customers to maximize commercial vehicle sales opportunities while ensuring achievement of sales and marketing targets across the assigned territory. Responsibilities include implementing sales strategies, performing sales planning and forecasting activities, and executing business development initiatives to achieve financial goals and expand market share. The position requires a strong technical understanding of commercial vehicle systems, applications, and solutions to effectively address customer requirements and deliver tailored proposals. The role also involves managing the full sales cycle from opportunity identification and proposal preparation through negotiation and deal closure. Market intelligence responsibilities include monitoring market trends, competitor activities, customer buying behaviors, and industry developments to support strategic decision-making and ensure competitive positioning. The manager contributes to divisional strategy development and annual business growth plans while supporting revenue growth objectives and long-term business success. The role also includes enhancing team performance through coaching and mentoring activities to strengthen commercial capability within the sales organization. Operational responsibilities include using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint to support sales planning, reporting, presentations, and analysis. The role requires regular travel within the region to support customer engagements and business activities and requires possession of a valid GCC driving license. The Sales Manager operates within a high-performing Commercial Vehicles Sales team focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences and expanding market presence through strong collaboration with internal functions across the automotive organization.

- Build and manage relationships with new and existing customers to maximize commercial vehicle sales opportunities and strengthen long-term customer partnerships.
- Deliver sales and marketing targets for the assigned territory by executing commercial vehicle sales strategies aligned with organizational business objectives.
- Achieve financial goals through effective sales planning, sales forecasting, and execution of revenue growth strategies.
- Contribute to the development of divisional sales strategy and annual business growth plans to support expansion of the commercial vehicles business.
- Manage the full sales cycle including identifying opportunities, understanding customer requirements, preparing tailored proposals, negotiating agreements, and closing commercial vehicle sales deals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, industry developments, and customer buying behaviors to inform strategic decision-making and maintain competitive positioning.
- Provide technical guidance to customers by leveraging knowledge of commercial vehicle systems, applications, and solutions to recommend appropriate products.
- Enhance team performance by coaching, mentoring, and developing the capabilities of sales team members within the commercial vehicles business.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support sales operations, customer engagement activities, and regional market expansion initiatives.
- Travel as required to support regional business activities, customer meetings, and commercial vehicle sales engagements.
Experience & skills
- Possess a minimum of 7 years of professional sales experience in commercial vehicles or related technical industries, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Demonstrate strong technical understanding of commercial vehicle systems, applications, and solutions within the automotive or heavy equipment sector.
- Hold a Bachelorβs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related academic discipline.
- Demonstrate proven ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets through effective territory sales management and business development activities.
- Show proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint for sales analysis, reporting, forecasting, and presentations.
- Possess a valid GCC driving license to support regional customer engagement and business travel activities.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of market dynamics, product solutions, competitive landscape, and customer buying behaviors within the commercial vehicles industry.
