Job description
The Territory Manager for Joints in Alain at Johnson & Johnson (transitioning to DePuy Synthes) is responsible for supporting surgeons and nurses during joint surgeries, driving sales, and increasing market share. This field-based role requires strong clinical knowledge, account management, and cross-functional collaboration to execute area sales plans and ensure optimum service for healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities
- Support surgeons and nurses during Joints surgeries in operating theatres
- Assist with selling orthopaedic products to surgeons and OR professionals
- Develop and execute clinical sales implementation plans and follow-up actions
- Support UAE Joints team in other territories when required
- Document and maintain customer account information
- Monitor and report on sales pipeline using company systems
- Demonstrate product and procedural expertise including new product introductions
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting and compliance with company processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to close key sales opportunities
Experience & skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Orthopaedics or clinical sales
- Medical background preferred
- Strong product and procedural knowledge in joint reconstruction
- Experience supporting surgical teams in operating theatres
- Excellent account management and reporting skills
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus
- Ability to work in a field-based role and travel across the territory
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer-centric skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and adapt to organizational changes (DePuy Synthes transition)
