Job description
The Senior Brand Manager / Brand Manager role in the pharmaceutical sector is responsible for shaping and executing end-to-end brand strategy and driving successful product launches within the Immunology disease area in Saudi Arabia, specifically Riyadh. The role involves preparing content for Integrated Brand Teams and Launch Teams, ensuring execution, monitoring, and analysis of tactical brand plans to achieve brand growth objectives. The position requires leading promotional activities in alignment with internal SOPs and Code of Conduct guidelines, while ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards. The role includes monitoring and controlling brand budgets, forecasts, and expenses, and analyzing the marketing mix to evaluate cost effectiveness and performance outcomes. The Brand Manager identifies market insights through customer interactions and continuously monitors product performance and external market conditions using appropriate tools to take corrective actions when necessary. Collaboration with Marketing and Medical teams is essential to maximize impact, including scouting centres, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and Opinion Leaders (OLs) within assigned territories. The role also involves identifying patient segment needs within Immunology disease areas and translating these insights into actionable brand strategies to improve patient outcomes and ensure sustainable business growth in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment under Novartis Saudi Arabia Ltd (SA01 FCRS SA001).

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated brand plans and ensure alignment with regional and global pharmaceutical strategy for Immunology products
- Lead preparation and participation in Integrated Brand Teams and Launch Teams to drive successful product commercialization
- Execute, monitor, and analyze tactical marketing plans to ensure achievement of brand growth objectives
- Develop and implement promotional activities in compliance with internal SOPs and Code of Conduct guidelines
- Manage, track, and optimize brand budgets, forecasts, and expenses to ensure financial efficiency and control
- Analyze marketing mix effectiveness to evaluate cost efficiency and business impact of brand activities
- Identify market insights through direct customer interactions and translate findings into actionable strategies
- Monitor product performance and external market environment using analytical tools and implement corrective actions when required
- Collaborate with Marketing and Medical teams to maximize brand activities and disease awareness initiatives
- Engage and map Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Opinion Leaders (OLs) within assigned therapeutic and geographic territories
- Identify patient segment needs in Immunology disease areas and adapt brand strategy accordingly
- Ensure continuous improvement of brand performance and alignment with pharmaceutical compliance standards
Experience & skills
- Minimum 2 years of brand management experience within the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in launching pharmaceutical products successfully in competitive markets
- Previous experience in Sales Management or Market Access is desirable
- Experience in Immunology disease area is preferred
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical marketing principles and regulatory compliance
- Fluency in English and Arabic languages
- Ability to work cross-functionally with medical, marketing, and sales teams
