Job description
Manage and oversee a significant investment portfolio in the Emirati Segment covering Certificates of Deposit, Fixed Income, Mutual Funds, Equities, and Structured Products. The role involves direct engagement with clients, delivering customized investment solutions, conducting regular portfolio reviews, and collaborating with internal stakeholders. The candidate will lead market discussions, provide strategy feedback, and support Relationship Managers with governance and investment expertise, ultimately contributing to the bankās growth in AUM and revenue.

Key responsibilities
- Deliver customized investment solutions to Relationship Managers and/or directly to clients based on risk profiles and requirements.
- Develop strategies to increase the number of new-to-investment clients.
- Support unit goals for revenue, AUMs, and new client acquisition.
- Monitor, rebalance, and restructure client portfolios to improve satisfaction.
- Conduct investment account reviews ensuring holdings align with client objectives.
- Engage in regular discussions with bank units on market views and investment strategies.
- Actively contribute to forming investment area views and converting them into client-focused solutions.
- Provide feedback to improve the overall investment offering.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the bank for idea generation and project execution.
- Act as a role model in investment governance and client-centric engagement.
- Ensure transparent and careful handling of client queries and objections.
Experience & skills
- Clear understanding of macroeconomic research and its application to investment decisions.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and portfolio management theory.
- Experience in investment advisory, financial markets, and economic analysis.
- Expertise in both strategic and tactical asset allocation.
- Thorough knowledge of investment products and risk profiling.
- Preferred CFA, FRM, or CAIA charterholder or currently pursuing these qualifications.
- Minimum Bachelorās Degree from a reputed institution.
- Fluency in Arabic is mandatory.
