The Client Manager (Energy & Construction) role within Locktonās Dubai business unit is responsible for driving sustainable business growth through technical insurance expertise and strong client relationship management within the energy and construction (re)insurance sector. The position focuses on understanding client risk profiles, business needs, and exposures to provide tailored insurance placement strategies, coverage advice, programme pricing guidance, and retention strategies aligned with client objectives. The role requires continuous monitoring of reinsurance market developments and communicating insights to internal teams to refine placement strategies. It involves managing relationships with insurance markets at both operational and strategic levels, ensuring effective negotiation, structuring, and re-structuring of insurance programmes for new business and renewals. The Client Manager is responsible for end-to-end servicing of allocated accounts, including renewal management, placement execution, and ensuring all renewals are completed within required timelines in line with Lockton procedures. The role includes obtaining quotations for new business opportunities, identifying risk exposures, and recommending appropriate insurance and risk management solutions in collaboration with Account Executives and Partners. It also requires preparation and issuance of placement documentation such as wordings, insurance coverage documents, and placement slips in accordance with contract certainty and regulatory requirements. The position involves managing global insurance programmes and coordinating with international producer networks where applicable. The Client Manager must ensure timely invoicing following successful placement and maintain compliance with internal operating procedures. The role includes participation in client meetings and internal strategy sessions, contributing to business development, retention, and achievement of production targets. It requires collaboration with retail teams to develop client proposals and structured insurance programmes. Overall, the role combines technical reinsurance expertise, market knowledge, client advisory capability, and business development responsibility within the energy and construction insurance sector.

- Monitor reinsurance market developments and communicate insights to internal teams to support placement strategy adjustments and decision-making
- Manage insurance market relationships at operational and strategic levels to support placement, renewal, and structuring activities
- Analyse client risk profiles, exposures, and business needs to provide tailored insurance coverage advice, pricing guidance, and retention strategies
- Identify risk exposures and recommend appropriate insurance and risk management solutions in collaboration with Account Executives and Partners
- Obtain quotations for new business opportunities and demonstrate insurance structuring and re-structuring capabilities
- Manage end-to-end renewal processes for allocated accounts ensuring timely execution and completion in accordance with Lockton procedures
- Prepare and issue insurance documentation including coverage wordings, placement slips, and related contractual documentation within contract certainty deadlines
- Resolve client, account, and insurer queries or service issues in coordination with internal teams and third-party providers
- Ensure timely invoicing after placement completion in line with operational procedures and contract certainty requirements
- Coordinate global insurance programmes and liaise with international producer networks where required
