Job description
The Senior Manager – General Ledger Controlling role within Red Sea Global’s Operations Division and Supply Chain and Logistics Department leads the finance operations function across the Group. The role is accountable for ensuring accurate booking and recording of all financial transactions in compliance with IFRS, internal policies, controls, and budgetary ownership by entity and business unit. The position oversees execution of all treasury operations including payables, collections, credit control and insurance, documentary credits, financial guarantees, bank funding, cash management, and cash pooling to meet commercial and funding obligations. The role is responsible for controlling, analyzing, and optimizing operating and financing cash flows through monthly cash flow planning and forecasting with the CFO to ensure adequate liquidity at optimal cost. The position actively manages bank debt and funding portfolios, monitors KPIs against covenants, and supports the development of funding strategy and capital structure. The role ensures Group compliance with fiscal requirements in KSA including VAT and Zakat, supports monthly and statutory reporting, statutory audits, and budgeting activities, and maintains key external relationships with banking partners, statutory auditors, credit insurers, and tax advisors. The Senior Manager also leads and develops the accounting team, supports payroll and employee disbursements, collaborates with Corporate Commercial Finance and IT on SAP and ERP implementations, prepares MIS reporting, and drives continuous improvement initiatives aligned with international best practices.

Key responsibilities
- Lead booking and recording of all financial transactions in line with IFRS, internal policies, controls, and budgetary ownership by entity and business unit
- Execute and oversee treasury operations including payables, collections, credit control and insurance, documentary credits, financial guarantees, bank funding, cash management, and cash pooling
- Prepare and manage monthly cash flow planning and forecasting to ensure adequate liquidity at optimal cost
- Manage and service bank debt and funding portfolios by reviewing operating and financing cash flows and monitoring KPIs against covenants
- Support development of funding strategy and capital structure in collaboration with the CFO, GM, and Corporate Commercial Finance team
- Ensure preparation and submission of KSA fiscal reporting and regulatory compliance including VAT and Zakat
- Support monthly, statutory, and audit reporting processes and annual budget preparation where required
- Lead, develop, and manage the accounting team across the Group
- Oversee payroll, employee expenses, and other disbursements in coordination with HR
- Support implementation and integration of SAP, ERP systems, and other financial software with Corporate Commercial Finance and IT
- Ensure adherence to functional policies, systems, processes, procedures, standards, and controls
- Prepare accurate and timely MIS statements and management reports
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on international best practices, cost reduction, productivity improvement, and process optimization
Experience & skills
- Hold a professional accounting qualification from an IFAC accredited institution
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a mid-level finance leadership role within a multinational organization of suitable scale ($300M+ business)
- Demonstrate strong background in accounting and reporting, accounting operations, treasury management, and business controls
- Exhibit strong analytical capability in reviewing, interpreting, and scrutinizing financial information
- Demonstrate proficiency with SAP, ERP systems, and advanced MS Office tools
- Show ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail while maintaining a strategic perspective
