Job description
Metro experience sits at the core of what this Commissioning Engineer role in Dubai needs, working within AESG's multi-discipline project teams to verify that tested results hold up and site inspections are done right. You will independently conduct site inspections within the mechanical discipline, reviewing design information, tolerances, and agreed methods of working as part of the daily routine. Test procedures and recorded results get assessed against project specifications and industry codes of practice, with project documentation reviewed for the same compliance standards. Issues found on site get reported to senior team members clearly, accurately, and concisely, and liaison with contractors' commissioning teams stays professional throughout. Site observations on installation quality feed into documentation produced to a high standard, including Site Observation Reports. Installation, submittals, and the use of engineering tools all get monitored against project and commissioning guidelines, while meetings and workshops relevant to the discipline come up when required. Task completion gets tracked through lookaheads and trackers prepared for project milestones, and a diary of site events, systems inspected, and authority decisions stays under your control throughout.
