Job description
The Assistant Manager – Leasing is responsible for managing the full leasing lifecycle for residential and commercial units. This includes promoting available properties, conducting viewings, screening tenants, preparing leases, and ensuring tenant satisfaction. The role is crucial in achieving occupancy goals and maintaining regulatory and operational compliance.

Key responsibilities
- Achieve annual leasing targets by promoting available properties to qualified tenants.
- Conduct property viewings and highlight key amenities to prospective tenants.
- Pre-screen tenants and assist with application through move-in process.
- Prepare and explain lease agreements, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
- Coordinate lease renewals, terminations, and ensure accurate filing of lease records.
- Maintain tenant databases and leasing activity tracking systems.
- Address tenant inquiries professionally and ensure high tenant satisfaction.
- Ensure units are show-ready and coordinate with facility management for move-ins.
- Escalate maintenance concerns and coordinate with finance for deposits and rent collection.
- Collaborate with marketing, CX, sales, and operations to improve tenant services.
- Provide market intelligence to support rental pricing and property improvements.
- Identify strategies to improve tenant retention and minimize vacancies.
Experience & skills
- Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s in Real Estate, Business, or Marketing preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in leasing, property management, or real estate sales.
- Strong communication and tenant engagement skills.
- Knowledge of local rental regulations and market trends.
- Experience handling leasing systems, documentation, and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with Tawtheeq/Ejari and real estate compliance processes.
