Job description
The Advanced Cyber Security Architect/Engineer at Honeywell leads and delivers on-site cybersecurity services for industrial Process Control Networks across industries such as Oil and Gas, Power Generation, and Petrochemicals. Responsibilities include project leadership, technical mentorship, and acting as a primary customer interface for tailored cybersecurity solutions. The role encompasses consulting, network design, implementation, troubleshooting, risk assessments, and compliance with security standards such as IEC-62443 and ISO27000. The position requires extensive expertise in IT security, industrial networking, firewalls, LAN/WAN architectures, system management, and virtualization, as well as experience in leading security projects, conducting audits, and performing cybersecurity services on-site. The candidate must be CISSP and Cisco certified (or in the process), with strong capabilities in Microsoft and Linux environments, and will travel 30–65% of the time. The role is based in Shuaiba, Kuwait and requires direct engagement with high-touch customers and cross-functional collaboration within Honeywell’s operations.

Key responsibilities
- Lead on-site cyber security services for industrial Process Control Networks
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet design and customer satisfaction requirements
- Act as a technical mentor and team lead for developing cybersecurity expertise
- Serve as primary customer interface to ensure alignment of solutions with business needs
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of Honeywell's security/network product portfolio
- Maintain industry-standard cyber security certifications
- Perform cybersecurity assessments and risk analysis
- Support sales by defining cybersecurity solutions and participating in proposals
- Diagnose customer technical problems and provide timely solutions
- Support critical customers with ongoing technical relationship management
- Develop operational strategy and provide regional subject matter expertise
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety and site requirements
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer-related field or 5+ years of equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in IT security and industrial process control
- 10+ years of industrial networking experience
- CISSP certification or equivalent
- Cisco network/design/security certification (certified or in process)
- Experience with Linux and Windows security fundamentals
- 5+ years leading security projects and performing audits/assessments
- Expertise in firewall, ACL, IDS/IPS, SIEM, TCP/IP protocols
- Experience in Active Directory, DNS, WSUS, Terminal Server
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex network and integration issues
- Experience with anti-virus, backup, and restore solutions
- Familiarity with industrial site safety requirements
- Strong virtualization skills
- Ability to travel 30–65% regionally
