The Assistant Manager, Marketing (Aquaventure Waterpark and Marine Operations) at Atlantis Dubai, part of Kerzner International and home to Atlantis, The Palm and Atlantis The Royal, is responsible for assisting in managing all marketing activity relating to the Marine and Waterpark Division and its sub-business units under the Aquaventure World brand, including Aquaventure Waterpark, The Lost Chambers Aquarium, Marine Animal Experiences (Dolphins and Sea Lions), Watersports, and Retail & F&B operations within the Marine and Waterpark Division. The role supports the overall strategy, performance, and profitability of the division by developing strategic Marketing Brand and Commercial Plans to exceed annual business targets, driving brand visibility in local and international markets to increase brand awareness and equity, and supporting direct ticket sales to achieve budgeted revenue through cutting-edge brand, product and tactical campaigns. The position holds responsibility for Aquaventure World brand identity, ensuring tone of voice, visual identity and brand essence are protected and promoted across all marketing initiatives, contributing to the Annual Marketing Calendar aligned with business objectives and developed marketing strategies, and creating fully-fledged integrated marketing campaigns focused on new customer acquisitions, cross-sell, upsell and repeat visitation tactics. The role oversees the full in-park guest experience in conjunction with Operations departments, leading in-resort collateral, signage, digital screens and mobile applications content updates to increase guest share of wallet and deliver an extraordinary guest experience. It requires executing competitor analysis, creating Post-Campaign Reports for continuous improvement, leveraging data to inform media strategy, packages, promotions and partnership campaigns, maintaining brand efficacy across Search, Social and Content, assisting with administration and planning of annual marketing plans and budgeting cycles, and collaborating with Marketing, Sales, PR, Revenue Management and Operations teams, as well as agencies, to ideate and roll out media and advertising plans. The position requires a minimum of 2 years marketing experience, ideally within a theme park, waterpark or complex facility in the entertainment or adventure industry, and previous experience with social media platforms and content creation to promote brands, events or attractions. Experience & skills
- Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years experience in marketing, ideally gained within a theme park, waterpark or complex facility in the entertainment or adventure industry, with proven involvement in developing Marketing Brand and Commercial Plans, executing integrated marketing campaigns, supporting direct ticket sales, managing brand identity, conducting competitor analysis and preparing Post-Campaign Reports.
- Exhibit hands-on experience working with social media platforms and content creation to promote brands, events or attractions, and show the ability to maintain brand efficacy across Search, Social and Content while contributing to media strategy, advertising plans, partnership campaigns, Annual Marketing Calendar development and budgeting cycles.
- Operate effectively under the general guidance of the Marketing Manager and Director within a wider Marketing team, collaborating with Sales, PR, Revenue Management and Operations teams, and demonstrate vision, initiative, energy and enthusiasm for working in a perpetually changing environment with strong commercial acumen and a strategic mind-set.
