Job description
The role focuses on delivering financial services to MashreqBank customers by providing unbiased, competent, timely, and seamless service while achieving monthly Insurance FER and personal targets. Responsibilities include acquiring, developing, and strengthening insurance business through relationship management, contributing to front-line performance by training and supporting SSOs to promote OTC insurance products, managing relationships with new and existing personal banking customers through consultative financial analysis, and actively sourcing and prospecting customers for wealth insurance products. The position requires up-selling, cross-selling, providing market updates and trend analysis, ensuring superior customer experience, profiling customers to understand their needs, and taking ownership of insurance-related customer complaints while coordinating with internal teams and insurance providers for resolution. Duties also include improving service levels in branches, supporting new staff onboarding, minimizing insurance attrition, driving customer acquisition through walk-ins and sales funnel tracking, increasing share of wallet among high-risk customers, meeting service standards, reducing PIR, and contributing towards achieving an acceptable audit rating for the branch. The role requires thorough knowledge of MashreqBank’s retail banking products, services, policies, and processes, along with strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal skills, the ability to work under pressure, and computer literacy.

- Achieve monthly Insurance FER and individual sales targets for personal banking
- Proactively satisfy customer needs through REAC and provide unbiased financial services
- Acquire, develop, and strengthen insurance acquisition through effective relationship management
- Support branch staff by training and upskilling SSOs to confidently promote OTC insurance products
- Manage and develop relationships with personal banking customers through consultative financial analysis
- Actively source and prospect customers for wealth insurance products
- Perform up-selling, cross-selling, and provide market updates and trend analysis to customers
- Ensure superior customer service to enhance the overall customer experience
- Profile each customer to understand individual financial needs and support retention efforts
- Take ownership of insurance-related customer complaints and coordinate with teams and providers for resolution
- Contribute to branch KPI achievement and support new staff through coaching and team collaboration
- Provide feedback to improve insurance products, processes, and services to reduce cycle time, costs, or enhance satisfaction
- Minimize insurance attrition and drive customer acquisition through walk-ins and activity tracking
- Increase share of wallet of high-risk customers to reduce exit likelihood
- Meet required service standards and support reduction of PIR
- Contribute to achieving acceptable audit ratings for the branch
