Job description
The Relationship Officer – Real Estate role at First Abu Dhabi Bank operates within the Commercial Banking subdivision under the Personal, Wealth & Business Banking division and is responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration within the real estate banking segment. The role focuses on meeting and exceeding monthly and annual sales and revenue targets through new-to-bank client acquisition and deepening relationships with existing customers. Responsibilities include conducting field visits, performing detailed customer and case analysis, ensuring accurate client information collection, delivering a superior client onboarding experience, and strictly adhering to KYC, compliance, risk control, and governance processes. The position requires strong real estate banking expertise, proactive cross-selling across FAB business divisions, maintaining daily sales performance reports, managing customer service quality, resolving customer issues, participating in continuous learning and development programmes, monitoring competitor offerings, and ensuring adherence to internal audit, compliance, and risk mitigation standards to protect the bank’s franchise.

Key responsibilities
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales, revenue, and KPI objectives for real estate banking products
- Drive market penetration through new-to-bank client acquisition and solicitation of existing clientele
- Conduct field visits and perform thorough customer and credit case analysis with accurate information reporting
- Deliver superior client onboarding experience through deep knowledge of products, policies, and processes
- Maintain daily sales reports and performance tracking for management review
- Identify and execute cross-selling opportunities to increase revenue per customer across business divisions
- Ensure strict adherence to KYC, compliance, AML, fraud control, and internal governance processes
- Resolve or escalate customer complaints and redresses to ensure timely resolution
- Participate in learning, development, and training programmes to enhance sales effectiveness
- Maintain awareness of competitor offerings and provide improvement suggestions to management
- Ensure quality customer acquisition and adherence to audit and risk control assessment requirements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to discuss cases and ensure necessary support is provided
Experience & skills
- Mandatory real estate banking experience
- 3–5 years of experience in banking or the financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of commercial banking products and real estate financing
- Good convincing and negotiation skills suited to complex business requirements
- Working knowledge of KYC, AML, compliance, and risk control processes
- Ability to identify cross-selling opportunities across banking divisions
- University degree, MBA, PGDM, or sales-related diploma or certification preferred
