Job description
The role leads technical strategy and execution for transitioning enterprise endpoints to the cloud as part of the AI Business Solutions Team. This deeply technical position requires expert-level proficiency in Microsoftâs endpoint and virtualization solutions, including Windows 365, Windows 365 Link, Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune, Entra ID, and cloud-native endpoint management technologies. The Senior Solution Engineer acts as a trusted technical advisor in pre-sales engagements, delivering tailored demonstrations, orchestrating proof-of-concept deployments, conducting discovery sessions, and driving technical decisions by aligning solutions with customer business outcomes. Responsibilities include developing expertise in Microsoft product differentiators, building strategy around competitive strengths, unblocking technical objections, and mapping solutions to customer digital transformation plans. The role collaborates with AI Workforce Specialists, field sellers and partners, supports partner-led engagements, performs competitive analysis to remove blockers, escalates and resolves technical issues, and drives adoption of Microsoftâs endpoint solutions such as Windows 365. The position requires deep knowledge of cloud, hybrid and on-premises infrastructures, architecture design, migrations and secure, scalable endpoint solution delivery for enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain expert-level proficiency in Microsoft endpoint technologies including Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune and Entra ID
- Act as a trusted advisor in pre-sales engagements, delivering demos, discovery sessions, whiteboarding and proof-of-concept deployments
- Build competitive strategy by understanding Microsoft strengths and competitor weaknesses to remove technical blockers
- Lead solution design efforts to win technical decisions by aligning architectures with customer business outcomes
- Escalate and resolve customer objections and technical blockers as needed
- Engage in partner sell-with scenarios and collaborate with partners on technical activities
- Map Microsoft solutions to customer digital transformation strategies and objectives
- Perform competitive analysis to articulate differentiators and drive adoption of Microsoft endpoint solutions
Experience & skills
- Possess 5+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience (or equivalent experience)
- Alternatively, hold a Bachelorâs degree and 4+ years of technical pre-sales or consulting experience, or a Masterâs degree and 3+ years
- Have 4+ years of experience with cloud, hybrid or on-premises infrastructures including architecture design, migrations and technology management
- Hold certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure Virtual Desktop, Endpoint Management, Power BI, Azure Architect or Cloud Platform certifications)
- Demonstrate advanced (L400+) proficiency in Microsoft endpoint technologies including Windows 365, AVD, Intune, Entra ID and Windows 11
- Show deep understanding of cloud, hybrid and on-premises systems and secure endpoint architectures
- Be able to design, implement and support secure, scalable enterprise endpoint solutions
- Have strong pre-sales communication and technical problem-solving skills with less than 25% travel availability
