Job description
The Accounts Manager - Commercial is responsible for conceptualising, framing, and implementing marketing plans to grow ENOC’s Bulk LP Gas market share and achieve profitability objectives. The role includes managing bulk marketing functions, developing strategies, supervising teams, and driving sales growth while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. This position requires expertise in the petroleum industry, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to manage customer relationships and market development initiatives.

Key responsibilities
- Manage the Bulk marketing functions in the company and draw up short-term and medium-term plans.
- Supervise and motivate team for higher performance.
- Drive strategic planning and sales efforts for overall growth of the Bulk LP Gas market and profitability.
- Undertake market study to determine current and prospective market segments, suggest strategies, and initiate action to meet opportunities at optimum pricing structures.
- Identify new prospects for Bulk LP Gas and provide techno-commercial feasibility solutions to prospective customers.
- Interact with consultants, contractors, and users to promote LP Gas use in new projects.
- Develop new applications of LP Gas and promote its use as a replacement/alternate fuel.
- Manage and develop the Bulk LP Gas distribution channel to ensure safe and efficient supply, product planning, and timely payment recovery.
- Organise promotion events and training programmes for Bulk LP Gas customers.
- Act as a focal point for effective dissemination of information for internal and external customers.
- Ensure quality and customer service objectives are met and focus on continual improvement.
- Keep abreast of commercial and industrial developments and competition in the LPG market, identify emerging trends, and develop strategies to achieve/retain market leadership.
- Make monthly sales plans and coordinate with Operations and suppliers for availability, prices, and terms.
Experience & skills
- Postgraduate Degree / Diploma in Marketing.
- 7-8 years experience in industrial marketing in a service-oriented industry.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience within the petroleum industry (LP Gas background is an advantage).
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Up-to-date knowledge of LPG market trends.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Knowledge of Environment, Health & Safety policies, procedures, regulations, and objectives.
