Job description
The Risk Assurance Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting Pandaās Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) strategy, ensuring business risks are effectively identified, evaluated, and mitigated to minimize financial impact and enhance operational resilience. This role involves assisting the Head of Unit in strategy formulation, audit planning, risk control, and compliance monitoring. The position requires coordination with various departments, mentoring audit staff, and facilitating risk assessment processes across the organization. It is essential that the manager stays current with evolving risk management standards, applicable regulations, and audit methodologies to ensure alignment with international and Panda-specific standards.

Key responsibilities
- Assist the Head of unit in formulating the ERM strategy, budgeting, and planning for business systems and risk management processes.
- Coordinate the annual risk assessment review and align with changing company objectives.
- Coordinate Audit Divisionās activities for efficient resource utilization and responsiveness.
- Assist in evaluating significant new or changing services and control processes during implementation.
- Ensure RA Sectionās compliance with IIA and Panda standards for auditing.
- Coordinate preparation of the Risk Assurance plan consistent with internal audit and organizational goals.
- Assist in preparing the annual audit plan including comprehensive risk assessments.
- Support the development and enhancement of enterprise-wide risk management programs and SOPs.
- Assess the severity of risks and design mitigation strategies with the Head of unit.
- Collaborate with business units to build and improve risk management capabilities.
- Promote use of ERM methodologies, tools, and techniques within the organization.
- Facilitate risk assessments and monitor key risks company-wide.
- Support implementation of risk reporting to senior management.
- Provide training and coaching to Risk Assurance and audit staff.
- Ensure compliance of risk policies with regulations and company imperatives.
- Support RA team performance and provide guidance during audit-related work.
- Stay informed on trends that could enhance audit efficiency.
- Work with other departments to implement agreed remediation plans.
- Stay updated on business and economic developments impacting risk and audit functions.
- Maintain professional conduct and relationships across all staff levels.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree required.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in risk management and governance.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong skills in financial and risk data analysis.
- Proficient in audit reporting and monitoring processes.
- Experience in quality inspection and legal compliance.
- Advanced verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation abilities.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
