Job description
The Manager ā Maintenance & Operations Support ensures destination facilities and infrastructure operate at peak performance by leading the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of preventive and reactive maintenance programs. The role oversees technical operations across MEP systems, attractions/ride equipment, utilities, and seawater filtration facilities, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, adherence to OEM standards, and equipment reliability. Key functions include developing and executing preventive maintenance schedules; managing asset inspections and service records via CMMS; supervising internal technicians and outsourced maintenance contractors; coordinating with operations and engineering to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption; responding to urgent breakdowns and implementing corrective actions; maintaining inventories of critical spare parts and maintenance tools; conducting vendor performance reviews and tracking SLAs; reporting maintenance KPIs to leadership with lifecycle improvement recommendations; leading technical audits, inspections, and condition assessments; collaborating on CAPEX planning and recommending upgrades or asset replacements based on performance and lifespan; and ensuring calibration, testing, and maintenance of safety and control systems. Managerial responsibilities include contributing to section/unit strategy and annual plans with objectives and KPIs, budget preparation and financial performance monitoring, implementing policies and procedures with KPI communication, and ensuring effective staffing, development, and deployment of employees.

- Manage MEP systems, ride equipment, utilities, and seawater filtration infrastructure
- Oversee asset inspections and service records using CMMS and ensure data integrity
- Supervise internal technicians and outsourced maintenance contractors to meet SLAs
- Coordinate with operations and engineering to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, OEM standards, and regulatory requirements
- Respond to urgent breakdowns and implement timely corrective actions
- Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and maintenance tools to minimize downtime
- Conduct vendor performance reviews and track contractual SLAs for service quality
- Report maintenance KPIs to leadership and recommend lifecycle improvements
- Lead technical audits, inspections, and condition assessments for infrastructure and attractions
- Collaborate on CAPEX planning and propose upgrades or asset replacements based on performance and lifespan
- Ensure proper calibration, testing, and maintenance of safety and control systems
- Contribute to section/unit strategy, objectives, KPIs, and annual operational plans
- Prepare and monitor budgets, implement policies and procedures, and communicate KPIs
- Ensure effective staffing, development, and deployment of section/unit employees
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering
- 8 years of experience with 2+ years in a managerial role; at least 3 years in a managerial capacity within theme parks, aquatic centers, or large-scale leisure environments
- CMMS proficiency
- Knowledge of aquatic systems and seawater equipment (strong advantage)
- Advanced proficiency in preventive and reactive maintenance, MEP systems maintenance, and ride/facility systems engineering
- Intermediate proficiency in CMMS management, contractor/vendor coordination, and inventory/spare part planning
- Advanced capability in breakdown response and troubleshooting
