Job description
The Senior Finance Analyst role within the Vision division of Johnson & Johnson’s MedTech business in MEA is responsible for delivering accurate, timely financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making. The position encompasses budgeting and forecasting, month-end close, performance analysis, financial operations oversight, and cross-functional collaboration with operational teams and senior management. The role requires strong knowledge of regional tax and regulatory requirements, ERP/BI systems expertise (SAP, CFIN/AFO, HFM), advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills, understanding of US GAAP, SOX controls, IFRS, and VAT/corporate tax compliance. The analyst will perform detailed cost and margin analysis, cash flow planning, KPI monitoring, scenario modeling, and support statutory/internal audits. The position serves as a single point of contact for Finance Operations and distributor queries, translating financial insights into actionable business recommendations, optimizing financial performance, and partnering closely with commercial and operational teams.

Key responsibilities
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles; develop rolling forecasts and scenario models for the Vision business
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports including variance analysis and regional reporting commentary
- Serve as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all Finance Operations and distributor-related queries across MEA, ensuring timely resolution and payments
- Coordinate month-end close activities with Finance Global Services, providing accrual entries and reviewing P&L and Balance Sheet
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities, standardizing and automating financial workflows
- Provide financial partnering to the Vision business, translating insights into actionable recommendations and collaborating with commercial teams on forecasts, risks, and opportunities
- Monitor KPIs and operational drivers, produce dashboards and management reports using SAP and BI tools
- Conduct cost analysis, margin improvement initiatives, and short-term liquidity/cash flow planning
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA or advanced finance certifications preferred
- 5–8 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in MedTech or related healthcare sector
- Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP) and BI/reporting tools (CFIN/AFO, HFM)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards including US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX controls
- Experience in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a matrix organization
- Excellent business partnering, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Ability to work independently, influence decision-making, and collaborate across multiple teams
