Job description
Turner & Townsend’s Contract Services Team delivers Contract Development, Contract Management, and Dispute Resolution Services across the region. The role requires strong consultancy or contractor experience with hands-on knowledge of standard forms of contract, claims management, dispute avoidance, and resolution within built environment sectors. Candidates with backgrounds in quantity surveying, commercial management, engineering, or legal disciplines are encouraged. The role involves client-facing responsibilities, claims compilation, dispute advisory, and supporting distressed projects with analytical and adaptable approaches.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Provide contract administration and commercial management services on major projects
- Deliver claims management and dispute resolution services across infrastructure and construction sectors
- Apply knowledge of FIDIC and other standard form contracts and their relevant processes
- Compile and prepare claim reports
- Support arbitration and litigation processes
- Confidently operate in a client-facing environment and deliver presentations
- Conduct performance forensics, including quantum and delay analysis
- Apply analytical skills in flexible and adaptable service delivery
- Provide consultancy services on live contracts and distressed projects
- Prepare and support major bid proposals
Experience & skills
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
- MSc in Construction Law or similar desirable (or currently undertaking)
- MCIArb, MCIOB, MRICS, or FRICS chartered preferred
- Experience in a variety of construction sectors and project types
- Strong contract administration experience
- Strong commercial management experience on major projects
- Experience with FIDIC and other standard form contracts
- Experience compiling claim reports
- Experience in arbitration and litigation processes
- Experience in performance forensics, whether quantum or delay
- Experience providing consultancy services on live contracts and projects in distress
- Demonstrable track record of providing contract and claims services in the property sector
