Job description
The Senior Manager, CEMEA Sales Excellence (Strategy & Planning) at Visa is responsible for transforming the company’s sales approach across the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (CEMEA) region. The role centers on driving client-centricity, enhancing sales enablement, and optimizing sales processes to accelerate revenue and improve efficiency. Reporting within Visa’s strategic planning structure, the Senior Manager will align regional sales operations with client objectives while embedding global best practices to strengthen performance. Key mandates include leading process improvement initiatives, implementing learning and development programs for sales teams, and managing cross-functional projects that support Visa’s business objectives. The incumbent will serve as a bridge between regional and global teams to promote collaboration, operational integration, and continuous improvement. This role demands analytical rigor, strategic insight, and the ability to deliver data-driven recommendations to senior management. The position involves identifying opportunities to streamline sales operations, reduce cycle times, and enhance productivity. It also includes responsibility for facilitating knowledge-sharing, supporting sales upskilling, and fostering a culture of proactive problem-solving and innovation. The Senior Manager will be expected to manage complex initiatives that drive commercial excellence while ensuring alignment with Visa’s overarching client engagement strategy and business growth priorities.

- Support the development and implementation of learning strategies and enablement programs for regional sales teams to enhance capability and performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements that reduce sales cycle time, improve efficiency, and accelerate revenue generation.
- Lead and manage strategic projects aligned with Visa’s regional business objectives, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Facilitate collaboration between sales and cross-functional teams to develop integrated client solutions and enhance alignment.
- Use analytics and performance data to monitor outcomes, identify gaps, and inform strategic recommendations.
- Provide clear and impactful communications, insights, and updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Anticipate operational challenges, propose practical and data-backed solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Champion best practices and knowledge transfer from global and regional teams to strengthen sales execution and consistency.
- Foster a client-centric mindset across the sales organization through structured enablement, training, and strategic alignment.
Experience & skills
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 7–10 years of professional experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, banking, or equivalent roles.
- Demonstrated experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or strategic planning within a B2B environment.
- Proven success managing complex, cross-functional projects and implementing sales process improvements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Experience developing and executing learning and enablement programs for sales organizations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and performance tracking tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively across regional and global teams to align initiatives and objectives.
