Job description
The Assistant Human Resources Manager at Centro Waha supports the Director of HR in managing all HR functions, ensuring alignment with the hotel’s strategic objectives. The role focuses on employee engagement, recruitment, performance management, and fostering a cooperative and high-performing work environment.

Key responsibilities
- Assist in recruitment, selection, and onboarding of all front-line employees
- Advise, counsel, and assist employees at all levels with HR queries and issues
- Encourage and enforce high standards of employee conduct; coordinate disciplinary actions when necessary
- Oversee and ensure staff accommodation meets cleanliness and comfort standards
- Coordinate sports, social activities, and staff engagement initiatives
- Maintain staff communication channels, including notice boards and regular updates
- Conduct and review annual appraisals and follow up on development needs
- Support hotel committees and initiatives to maintain high colleague satisfaction and team spirit
- Promote a cooperative working climate to maximize productivity and morale
Experience & skills
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional HR certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in HR role, preferably in hospitality
- Fluent in English, both written and oral
- Proficient in HR systems and computerized payroll
- Hands-on, people-focused, and proactive approach
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills
